About Me

Hi there! I'm Meghan, the artist behind Armadillo Glassworks. I've been fascinated by stained glass for a while, and was gifted my first class just over two years ago. Since then I've been obsessed with learning how to modernize and continue such an old, beautiful craft. I started incorporating my love for fantasy, folklore, and books into glass, and have enjoyed pushing myself to try new techniques and challenges.

I'm a native Texan and my husband (who designs most of my pieces) is Brazilian. We met online when we were 11 and 13, and after years of bouncing between and around Texas and Brazil are now living in Fort Worth with our two kids. The armadillo is native to both Brazil and Texas, which was the inspiration behind the name for Armadillo Glassworks. 

I hope to continue to weld the old with the new through glass, and I am so excited and thankful for your support and presence here! ❤️
